Board Member of Ghana Rugby Football Union, Ms. Rafatu Inusah has donated rugby balls to Salaga Secondary School (SASS) as part of the sport’s development.
The National Sports Authority (NSA) coach is an old student of Salaga Secondary School and thought it wise to give back to the school through rugby.
The World Rugby Educator was warmly welcomed by the Assistant Headmaster of Academics, Mr. Dara Ibrahim, Mr Bright Mbonwura Mahama(HOD), Mr. Mahama Mbonwura Wahab, Mr. Abdul -Rahman Aminu and the students of SASS who gladly accepted that rugby is introduced in the school and across the region.
The donation from Ms. Rafatu Inusah fits into the plans of the Ghana Rugby Football Union to promote sports in schools.
The governing body of Rugby in Ghana hopes to create interest among students and further draft more students into rugby teams.
