Ghanaian Tennis Team Refused Entry into Egypt to participate in African Junior Championships (AJC)

For the second consecutive year, Ghanaian Junior Tennis aspirants have been refused entry visas by the Egyptian Embassy in Accra.

Sources close to the Ghana Tennis Federation reveal that redtape bureaucracy from the Ghana Tennis Federation through the National Sports Authority through the Ministry of Youth and Sports through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the Egyptian Embassy is to blame.

A late submission of required documentation amidst security concerns in Egypt delayed the process.

Parents of the affected players and the entire Tennis Community are fervently waiting for the official statement of explanation from the Ghana Tennis Federation.
