GOC President Ben Nunoo Mensah Installed as Ga Nɔyaa Mantsɛ: A New Chapter of Progress for the Ga State

In a grand ceremony held at the Ga Stool House in Bukom, Accra, Mr. Ben Nunoo Mensah, President of the Ghana Olympics Committee (GOC), was formally installed as the Ga Noyaa Mantse (Development Chief of Ga State).

In his acceptance speech, Nii Kojo Ashiefie Papanyira I expressed profound gratitude to Almighty God, Nii Ga King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, and the Gyasete Dr. Nii Tette Kwei II for their unwavering support and guidance throughout his journey.

“I am deeply humbled by this esteemed honor,” he said. “I extend my sincerest appreciation to Nii Ga King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, the Gyasete Dr. Nii Tette Kwei II, and the entire Ga State for their trust and confidence in me.”

Nunoo Mensah also acknowledged the paramount chiefs, his family, and the sports media for their unrelenting support. He emphasized the need for collective effort to address the underrepresentation of Ga’s in prominent positions and pledged to work collaboratively with His Royal Majesty King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II and all stakeholders to enhance the King Tackie Teiko Tsuru Educational Fund, providing scholarships to deserving Ga youths.

As Ga Noyaa Mantse, Ben Nunoo Mensah is poised to play a pivotal role in driving the development and growth of the Ga State. His installation marks a significant milestone in his leadership journey, and his commitment to the Ga State’s advancement is expected to yield positive outcomes.

“I am committed to working tirelessly to uplift the Ga State and its people,” he concluded.

The installation ceremony was attended by prominent figures, including paramount chiefs, traditional leaders, and dignitaries from the sports fraternity.
