Good News For Ghana as Jojo Wollacott is set to join the Black Stars for the World Cup Despite Injury
Ghana Black Stars’ first-choice goalkeeper Jojo Wollacott will be joining the team in Qatar ahead of the 2022 World Cup despite not making the final 26-man squad due to injury.
The 26-year-old was part of Charlton Athletic’s warm-up session ahead of the game before he sustained the injury and was replaced in the starting line up
Jojo Wollacott was ruled out of the World Cup after he suffered a fractured finger a few days ago.
Charlton Athletic coach Ben Garner, however, revealed Wollacott will be traveling with the Ghana Black Stars team to Qatar to help the technical team.
According to Sahara Football reports, the Ghana FA and representatives of Jojo Wollacott are currently in talks for the Ghana’s no one goalkeeper to be at Qatar.

Ghana are the lowest-ranked team at the tournament and will face Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay in Group H.
