GTTA PRESIDENT MAWUKO AFADZINU TO LEAD WORKSHOP AT ITTF SUMMIT IN THAILAND

The president of the Ghana Table Tennis Association, Mawuko Afadzinu has been selected to lead a workshop at the International Table Tennis Federation’s Summit in Bangkok, Thailand.

Having transformed Ghana Table Tennis into a model worthy of emulation by all, the International governing body has asked Mawuko Afadzinu to lead a workshop and share insight into Growing Revenues for National, Regional, and Continental Table Tennis Events.

He will be supported by Nattavuth Ruengves, President of the Table Tennis Association of Thailand and Mounir Bessah, Deputy Secretary General of the ITTF.

Mawuko Afadzinu will delve into the art of crafting revenue streams tailored to table tennis events of varying scales, underscoring the versatility of these strategies for all member associations, and reinvigorating table tennis events with strategic for financial growth.

The Summit is expected to start on the 22nd of August and end on the 24th August 2023.

Attending this event will be Member Associations, ITTF Executives, global representatives, and guests from the sports and business sectors.

This will be the second summit of the highest body after the inaugural summit was held in Amman, Jordan in 2022.

According to ITTF, this year’s event will guarantee a highly interactive experience, fostering increased collaboration among members and providing ample opportunities for networking and knowledge exchange.
In addition to the Annual General Meeting, meetings convened by the ITTF Executive Board, ITTF Council, and Continental Council are scheduled to happen during the summit.
