Accra Hearts of Oak SC captain Fatawu Mohammed has heaped praises on Real Tamale United for securing promotion back into the Ghana Premier League after eight year absence.
RTU were confirmed winners of zone of the national second tier after humbling Unity FC by 2-0 on Sunday Evening tieing up on same points (65) as Bofoakwa Tano who were held by Berekum Arsenal all over the weekend, with the latter emerging champions with better head to head.
The Pride of the North will be making their first appearance in the Premier League in more than 8 years following their Relegation from the top of Ghana’s Football in 2012/2013 season.
Expressing his ecstatic feeling, took to official social media handles to congratulate RTU for a great job and looks reallt delighted to see them back into the topflight. He said;
“Congratulations to RTU for their qualifications to the Ghana premier league after 8 years.
Am happy my family, friends, and my funds can now see me playing from away at home”.
RTU have qualified to the Ghanaian top-flight along side with Bibiani Gold Stars and Accra Lions.
