Accra Hearts of Oak captain, Fatawu Mohammed has revealed reason behind his astonishing performance in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.
Fatawu, who plays as a right-back has been in a rich vein of form form for the league leaders since the appointment of the former Medeama coach.
He was impressive once again for the Phobians last Sunday as his side put fierce rivals Asante Kotoko to the sword at the Accra Sports stadium, picking up the ‘Man of the Match’ award after the end of proceedings.
Speaking to the press after the game, the skipper said: “It’s not an easy task to be playing at this level [Ghana Premier League], you have to work hard.”
“I say a very big thank you to this man [Samuel Boadu], he has pushed me to where I am today.”
Fatawu also expressed that his desire to continue improving under the guidance of Samuel Boadu.
“I am still fighting hard because this is not the level that I want to play. I’m just in a step to fly and he is helping me and encouraging me.
