Lanky left back William Denkyi has officially announced his departure from Hearts of Oak after an incredible four years with the club.
The defender who joined from Liberty Professionals in 2018 had a good start to his career with the Phobians, but lost his position following the arrival of Congolese defender Raddy Ovouka and later Dennis Korsah.
The youngster played a huge part in helping Hearts of Oak win the domestic treble in the 2020/21 season and also cinched the league cup and the President Cup in the just-finished campaign.
The former Ghana U-20 player on a Facebook post confirmed his exit from the club after the expiration of his contract.
In the letter, William Dankyi said a very big thanks to his teammates, Managers, staff and everyone that made his stay a memorable one.

The 23-year old featured 38 times for the Phobians in four seasons and was a member of the treble-winning side two seasons and FA Cup winner last season.
