Hearts of Oak linked with a move to sign Eleven Wonders stalwart defender Rashid Mohammed

Accra Hearts of Oak are close to completing a deal with Techiman Eleven wonders central Defender as the next Transfer window nears opening.

The Accra based side is 70% through with personal talks with the Player and and his managment.

Rashid Mohammed, captain of the Techiman based side will have his contract with Wonders coming an end after this season, and is free to leave the club.

With an impeccable defensive strength, Rashid is penciled as key player for the phobians, who are building a team capable of contesting in Africa.

The former Skyy FC defender has played a major role in Wonders first full season in the Ghanaian top flight, appearing 24 times for the club this term.

Mohammed was best Player when Hearts of Oak played as guest of Wonders in Techiman, confirming to scouts of the phobians their belief in his qualities.

The 6 foot tall football is mercurial in aerial duels, calm at the back, and excellent in communication, a quality the phobians have been looking all season.

Hearts of Oak has had one of the unstable central defence this term, changing 5 different players in that role.
