In-form Ghanaian-born Finnish forward Terry Ablade notched a brace for Fulham U23 as the young Whites spanked West Bromwich Albion in the ongoing Premier League 2.
Ablade, 19, and his team mates continued from where they left off from match day one when he made it three goals in two games as the speed merchant masterminded Fulham’s handsome win at home.
A Terry Ablade brace and Sonny Hilton goal ensured an excellent victory.
The young Whites opened the scoring 11 minutes in the game through Terry Ablade, who calmly took the ball around goalkeeper Alex Palmer before slotting it into the back of the net.
Fulham’s second goal of the game came in almost identical fashion. Team mate Harris played another great ball through and once again, like clockwork, Ablade rolled the ball past the ‘keeper before sliding it home.
Hilton added a third on the brink of half-time with a cracking finish, smashing his shot past the goalkeeper after latching onto a superb ball over the top by Christie.
Ablade could have secured his hat-trick late on. The West Brom ‘keeper was caught on the ball but one of his defenders came to his rescue, blocking the resulting shot.
The full-time whistle followed, meaning Fulham bounced to the top of the division after two games.
Terry Ablade will hope his red-hot form is sustained till the twilight of the season devoid of niggling injuries.
