Nineteen-times Ghana Premier League champions Hearts of Oak have been dealt a huge blow following goalkeeper Richard Attah’s head injury in their preseason game against Ebusua Dwarfs on Sunday afternoon.
Attah, who joined the Phobians after a stellar stint with Elmina Sharks, has been in immense form taking the No.1 spot from Richmond Ayi and was touted as one of the best in the local league however it appears he would have to wait a while before kicking on as the 2020/21 campaign starts in the coming weeks.
Attah was replaced by Richmond Ayi after picking the injury.
Richard, a man-mountain looks doubtful for Hearts’ opening day clash against Dormaa-based Aduana Stars on November 14.
The extent of the injury will be known after a review by the club’s medical team on Monday.
