The former Inter Allies star got injured during Asante Kotoko’s 1-0 win over Gold Stars on Match week 3 at the Dun’s Park in Bibiani
The mercurial midfielder missed out on his club’s last two matches against Eleven Wonders and Karela United.
In his absence, Midfielder Richard Boadu partnered Mudasiru Salifu and and Brazilian Fabio Gama for the two games.
But with Boadu suspended, Lamptey’s recovery has come in handy for the Porcupine Warriors who are keen on keeping their unbeaten start to the season.
Richmond Lamptey started full training with Asante Kotoko on Tueaday and has completed every session since, making him available for selection this weekend.
