Midfielder Gladson Awako will make his first appearance at Hearts of Oak training ground since excusing himself from training three weeks ago.
Reports went rife last Saturday that Awako is fearful for his life after having so many nightmares since he joined the Phobians from bitterest adversaries Accra Great Olympics.
The former Phoenix Rising FC attacker was said to be ready to make a refund of his signing-on fee and will do all he can to leave Hearts of Oak before the commencement of the 2021/2022 campaign.
Hearts of Oak issued a release indicating that Awako has been missing from the team’s camp because he is experiencing some personal difficulties.
Awako gave a hint of his return to join his teammates in their quest to qualify for the group stage of this season CAF Champions League.
The highly-rated midfielder is expected to join the team at training next week Monday.
His return will come as a major boost as the Samuel Boadu’s side as they prepare to take on Wydad Athletic Club next month in the second preliminary round of the CAF Champions League after scaling past Cl Kamsar.
It is unclear whether Awako will feature in that match.
