Asante Kotoko SC’s defensive stalwart Ismail Abdul Ganiu has been named the new substantive captain for the club heading into the 2021/22 domestic football season.
The former Wa All Stars FC showed glimpses of his leadership prowess in his last three seasons to earn the trust of the club’s leadership.
