Asante Kotoko lethal forward Kwame Poku has finally completed his move to Algerian outfit USM Alger, according to Myfabulousonline.com.
Opoku – who has been the main source of goals for the Porcupines – has been linked to several African clubs in recent weeks.
However, Algerian outfit USM Alger have won the race after several claims of South African, Egyptian and Tunisian clubs wanting to capture him.
Kwame Poku has signed a four-year deal with the North African side today Wednesday 10th February 2021 in a deal worth 500,000 euros.
USM Alger will grant Poku permission to be with the Black Stars team for the upcoming 2021 African Cup of Nations qualifier games against South Africa and Sao Tome before flying to Algeria should he make Akonnor’s final squad which will be announced later this week.
Kwame Opoku joined Kotoko in February 2020 and has scored seven goals in the ongoing 2020/21 Ghana Premier League and will today play his final game for the club against King Faisal in the outstanding game at the Ohene Ameyaw Stadium.
