Hearts Of Oak management has finally settled Gladson Awako’s debt GHc 50,000 as the remaining transfer fee to Accra Great Olympics.
The mercurial midfield linchpin transferred to Hearts of Oak in the summer transfer window from Great Olympics and per the agreement between the two parties, the Phobians were supposed to pay the transfer fees in two tranches by a set date however the purchasing club – Hearts of Oak – failed to fulfill the requirements stated in the contract by delaying with the second tranche and thus per the agreement between the two entities, Hearts forfeited the player.
Great Olympics sue Hearts of Oak of not paying the remaining balance of the transfer of Awako.
However, the CEO of Accra Great Olympics Oluboi Commodore has confirmed to FOx FM that, Great Olympics has withdraw case against Hearts Of Oak from the Court.
“Hearts of Oak has done the needful in relation to the Gladson Awako case so the case has been withdrawn from the court.
Hearts of Oak has paid the arrears of GHC50,000 being the final payment of the Awako transfer fee so there’s no case now”.
