Kotoko contacts CK Akonnor to renounce $200,000 fine

Former Asante Kotoko coach and current Black Stars coach, CK Akonnor who was shockingly shown the exit at Kotoko has been met by the management of Kotoko to retreat on the $200,000 fine slapped on the club.

It would be recalled that, the GFA Player Status Committee found Asante Kotoko guilty of breaches in the contract with Akonnor and instructed the club to compensate him.

A close source from Oyerepa FM indicates that Alhaji Lamini ,a member of Asante Kotoko Board, met Black Stars Coach, CK Akonnor to find a lasting solution to the existing monetary conundrum between Akunnor and Kotoko.

Kotoko wants the coach to waive the interest accrued from the Appeal hearing.
