Ghana international Kudus Mohammed has been named Player of the Week in the Dutch Eredivisie following his awe-inspiring display against Heerenveen.
Kudus, 20, netted his debut goal and provided a brace of assists as Dutch giants Ajax Amsterdam thrashed Heerenveen 5-1 at the Johan Cryuff Arena on Sunday.
He was adjudged the ‘King of the Match’ – the second since joining Ajax. This was followed with the best player from the Eredivisie over the weekend.
Kudus, 20, was thrown into the thick of affairs for Ajax following his recovery from injury and proved why he is regarded as one of the brightest takents to have hailed from his homeland with an mouthwatering display as the four-time European champions whitewashed Heerenveen.
The former FC Nordsjaelland forward notched his maiden league goal for the Dutch giants and increased his assist tally as he helped his side record a massive win at home.
He enjoyed the entire duration of the match with a stupendous performance.
He has made three appearaces for Ajax since joining from Danish SuperLiga side FC Nordsjaelland with a goal and three assists in as many games played.
