Second Sermon crooner Black Sherif is set to perform in the 2021 MTN FA Cup finals on Sunday, according to reports trickling in from the local media.
This year’s cup finals will feature reigning Ghana Premier League champions Hearts of Oak and four-time winners of the Ghanaian top-flight Ashgold at the Accra sports stadium on Sunday August 8 2021.
Hearts thrashed Medeama SC en route to the finals while high-scoring Ashgold walloped Berekum Chelsea – who ousted Asante Kotoko on penalties in the quarterfinals – to book a date with the Phobians on Sunday.
The highly anticipated cup finals will also witness Kweku Frimpong known in the music industry as Black Sherif performing live in what promises to be an event-filled, captivating moment at the nation’s Wembley.
Black Sherif’s Second Sermon which has dominated the airwaves and the internet has also gained greater eminence in the football fraternity following the match fixing scandal which has hit Ashgold following their final league game against Inter Allies.
Black Sherif’s smash song contains the lyrics which sings ‘Kweku Frimpong di asem beba’ which has been linked to the Ashgold’s owner and business magnate Dr Kwaku Frimpong, who has been accused of supervising the club’s embarrassing match fixing scandal.
