Captain of Legon Cities, Frank Akoto expressed disappointment after their narrow loss at home to Medeama SC in the match week 2 of the Ghana Premier League.
The Ghana Premier League game which was played at the University of Ghana stadium saw Medeama SC defender Kamaradini Mamudu score in the 18th minute of the game and eventually became the match winner goal at the end of the 90minuntes.
Akoto in an interview said, he considers this move as a step in the right direction.
“I didn’t expect this results in our home game, but it’s football, you win some and lose some. We hope to bounce back” he ended.
The defeat leaves the Royals at the bottom of the league with no points from two games.
Their next game will be against Vision FC at Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Stadium.
