LOC for Accra 2023 African Para Games held a 3-Day Retreat at Peduase for Committees to Develop Games Manual and Action Plans

The LOC for the Accra 2023 African Para Games held a 3-Day retreat for Directorates and Sub Committees to finalize all unresolved assignments, develop subcommittee working documents which actually is going to serve as the blue print for the 1st Ever African Para Games to take place in Accra Ghana from 3rd to 13th September 2023.

This event was led by Mr Samson Deen, President of Africa Paralympic Committee, LOC Chairman Dr Chris Boadi-Mensah and Director of Sports Directorate of the Accra 2023 LOC Dr Bella Bello Bitugu. Present at the event were LOC members like Ambassador Henry Tackie-Mensah (Head of Setvices Directorate), Lawyer Julie Ayobo (Heaf of Legal & Administration of the LOC), Saddick Adams who is the Head of Media & Communication of the LOC, Mr Evans Yeboah of the Finance & Marketing Committee and other heads of the sub committees of Accommodations, Venues, Transpirt, NPC Relations, Protocol Services, Medical & Classification Committee, HR, Administration, NPC Relations, Anti-Doping and the Games Management System committee.

At the end of the event, the draft Games Manual for Accra 2023 Africa Para Games was developed and terms of reference for all committees were developed together with their timelines, The date for Chef de Mission Seminars for Accra 2024 was set for July 2023 which official communications will be sent out.
