Ghana Premier League giants Accra Hearts of Oak has announced contract extension with long- serving midfielder Daniel Kordie after a fruitful negotiations.
The defensive midfielder has extended his contract with the Phobians until the end of 2024.
The club’s official statement “We are happy to announce that Daniel Kordie will be with the Phobia Family for the next 2 years. He has fully recovered.”
The 28-year-old has recovered from a long injury lay-off after a career threatening injury during an MTN FA Cup match against Uncle T United back in May 2019.
He was flown to South Africa for surgery under the guidance of specialist Dr. McCready at the Netcare Linksfield Hospital in Johannesburg on May 14, 2021.
Kordie is expected to excel in the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season which will commence in September.
