Ghanaian teenager Moses Abbey has signed with Romanian Liga I side FC U Craiova 1948 until the end of next season, the club have announced.
It was officially announced that Ravenna FC will release the left-footed attacking midfielder as soon as the transfer window opens in July, with the 20-year-old officially joining the Olten’s Blue-and-White shirted outfit from the Italian fourth-tier club.
In a press release by the Blue-and-White shirted outfit, it is stated that Abbey – who has been on the radar of Serie A giants AS Roma has been Ravenna’s topnotch performers in the 2022/23 season, scoring nine goals and providing seven assists in 34 appearances.
“Fotbal Club Universitatea 1948 announces that 20-year-old offensive midfielder Moses Abbey has signed a contract with the blue-and-white group until the end of next season, with an option to extend it for another three years.”
Abbey, an indigene of Accra, the smallish quick-studded midfield dynamo with high-speed technical agility on the field has only played for Italian clubs – Rende Calcio and Ravenna FC.
