Berry Ladies FC has recovered for their 1-0 defeat to Hasaacas Ladies last week to record an impressive 2-0 win against Soccer Intellectuals in the match-day of of the ongoing 2022/23 Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League at the Madina Astro turf.
Goals from Jacqueline Ampomsah and Ginika Ikeh ensured that Berry Ladies grabbed all the three points from the game.
Jacqueline Ampomsah who is making her debut gave the home side the lead in the 47th minute before Nigerian import Ginika Ikeh found the back of the net late in the 84th minute to seal the victory for Berry Ladies FC.
Berry Ladies forward Jaqueline Amponsah Ampomaa was adjudged the MVP of the match.
Coach Mercy Tagoe’s side will travel to Cape Coast to face LadyStrikers at the Robert Mensah sports stadium while Soccer Intellectuals will be at home to to take on Essiam Socrates Ladies FC.
