The Current sacking and rehiring wave of coaches in the Ghana Premier League has blown two affected coaches to seek solace in the Western enclave of Ghana as Medeama SC takes Yaw Acheampong and Yaw Preko on temporal basis.
The former Inter Allies, Great Olympics and Elmina Sharks gaffer has been appointed to lead the title winning ambition of the Tarkwa based side together with is close friend Yaw Preko who recently took charge of Accra Great Olympics.
The two have been signed to complete the remaining season, and to oversee the club’s participation in the Ghana FA cup
Yaw Acheampong ended a 4 year stay with the Sharks after he mutually parted ways with them.
The decision to appoint Yaw Achempong stems from the resignation of the club’s coach Samuel Boadu who has since joined Accra Hearts of Oak.
