Minister For Youth and Sports Designate Hon. Mustapha Ussif Declares Love For Asante Kotoko

The Minister for Youth and Sports Designate and MP for Yagaba-Kubori, Hon. Mustapha Ussif, has declared his unflinching love for the most successful club in Ghana Premier League Asante Kotoko SC.

Not long ago, President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo declared his support for Asante Kotoko.

The former NSS boss made this known before the vetting committee of Parliament on Thursday, February 25, 2021.

Mustapha Ussif said, “I support Kokoto Sporting Club” when responding to Hon. Haruna Iddrisu’s question on the team he supports.

The new Sports Minister-designate hails from Yagaba-Kubori in the North East Region and first served as the Member of Parliament for the Constituency in the 6th Parliament of the 4th republic.

He is replacing Isaac Kwame Asiamah who served as Minister of Sports during the first term of the Akufo-Addo government from 2017 to 2021.
