Ghanaian giants, Asante Kotoko have been knocked out of the 2022/23 MTN FA Cup competition.
The Porcupine Warriors after failing to win the domestic cup competition in the last two seasons were hoping to lift the trophy this season.
Unfortunately, for the Kumasi-based club, there has been another heartbreak.
Today, Asante Kotoko locked horns with Aduana Stars in the Round 16 clash of the MTN FA Cup season.
In a game played at the Nana Agyeman Badu Park, the hosts put up a strong display to beat the Porcupine Warriors.
A solitary strike from Sam Adams from 12 yards handed Aduana Stars the win to advance to the quarter-finals of the MTN FA Cup.
With Asante Kotoko now out of the competition, the reds must focus on fighting for the Ghana Premier League title.
