Owner of Division One League outfit, Skyy FC Hon. Wilson Arthur has been appointed by the President of Ghana as the Commissioner of the 7th Governing Board for National Development Planning Commission.
Hon. Arthur joins Ghana’s Development Think Tank with rich private sector experience in Media and sports as well as good insight and experience in local government from his impressive performance as District Chief Executive of Wassa East District from May 2017 to October 2021 as well as Dean of MMDCEs in the Western Region.
Aside his impeccable performance in Ghana’s political space, he has contributed his quota towards the advancement and growth of football since the Anas expose, overseeing a near-perfect organization of the MTN FA Cup competition, which was won by Hearts of Oak last season, as committee chairman for Ghana’s oldest existing football competition.
The politician cum football administrator also achieved personal satisfaction when his outfit, Skyy FC, clinched the maiden edition of the Division One Super Cup in the build-up to the new campaign.
