Former Aduana stars and Black stars goalkeeper, Stephen Adams has said that his inclusion in the Black stars squad for the 2014 World cup tournament in Brazil was a dream come true.
According to the former Real Sportive shot stopper, it is every footballer’s dream to play at the world stage and his inclusion in the 2014 Ghana World Cup squad was truly a dream come true.
“It was a great feeling because it is every player’s dream to play at the World Cup.There are a lot of players in Ghana and to be part of the 23 man squad was a great feeling”, he told GhSportsnews.com.
The 31 year-old again revealed he had no fear in him as a local player to play on the world stage when he went to Brazil, though he did not get the opportunity to play.
” I had no fear in me because it is my work. None of these players(Iniesta,Ronaldo) plays with four legs, so there is nothing to be scared of. Fear kills your spirit and you should not attach it to anything you are doing in life”,he added.
Adams however named former Accra Hearts of Oak forward, Mahatma Otu as his toughest Striker he has met on the local scene.
