Kosta Papic, the newly-appointed Head Coach of Hearts of Oak has called on the teeming fans of the club to exercise patience with him.
The Phobians have played two matches and have a single point, forcing the Board of Directors to appoint Kosta Papic after reassigning Edward Nii Odoom to the youth team (Auroras).
Papic returns for a second stint, having managed the club between 2008 and 2009 where he won the club’s last league title.
Speaking in an interview with Kumasi-based Wontumi Radio/TV, Papic reiterated the fact that he knows less of the current players and would need time to know his players.
“I would like to tell the supporters to be patient with me, I have just arrived. I did not have a Preseason with the club and I barely know the players here. I will start training with the squad to know what to do.”
Kosta Papic will get his job started this weekend when they host Karela United at the Accra Sports Stadium in Matchweek 4 of the ongoing premier league season. He will be assisted by Asare Bediako.
