Ghana Premier League club, Hearts of Oak have confirmed the appointment of Hamza Mohammed Obeng as the new assistant coach of the club.
The emerging talent spotter has put pen-to-paper on a long term deal which will see him at the Ghanaian giants until mid 2024.
The 28-year-old will reunite with his former boss Samuel Boadu in the capital, whom he has been working with for the past year at Medeama SC to serve the same role.
Hamza joined Medeama as first team assistant coach in December 2018.
The CAF License B holder is known by most football fans in the country having served as former head coach for Sagomens FC and assistant at King Faisal Babies.
Also, Hamza Obeng made a good name for himself and also got the spotlight after guiding Adu Gyamfi Senior High School to win the Ashanti Regional Inter-Schools soccer competition (Milo Games) on three consecutive occasions, winning the best coach in all those three years.
He hold Bsc in Business Administration from the University of Education, Kumasi campus.
