Asante Kotoko have announced the signing of sharp-shooting Solomon Sarfo Taylor as a free agent following the expiration of his contract with second-tier Danish side, Vendsyssel FF.
The lethal forward joins the Porcupines on a three-and-a-half-year deal after passing his mandatory medical on Monday.
Sarfo Taylor before his departure from Karela to seek greener pastures signed a pre-contract with the Kumasi-based royal club but opted to join Vendsyssel FF who presented a better offer to the player and his club.
However, his contract with the Danish outfit has run out and has joined the Porcupines who he promised to play for before leaving the country.
Sarfo Taylor was instrumental for Karela United in the Special Competition in 2019, netting five times in the competition as his partnership with Diawisie Taylor earned them a second-place finish after losing the finals to Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara Stadium and is expected to be a great addition to Kotoko.
