Yaw Annor, the goal king in 2021/22 the Ghana Premier League, has signed a two-year contract with Egyptian team Ismaily from AshantiGold.
With 22 goals, including a brace against Gold Stars in Bibiani on the final day, the 24-year-old edged out Mbella Etouga of Kotoko for the title of goal king.
The deal is reported to be in the region of $200,000.
Augustine Okrah, a legendary player for Bechem United, and Annor are the two biggest names who have left the Ghana Premier League; Okrah has also agreed to join Tanzanian powerhouses Simba SC.
After Kofi Owusu (Aswan SC), Hans Kwoffie (Smouha), and Diawisie Taylor(Future FC), Annor is the fourth Premier League goal king to relocate to Egypt in recent years.
