Official: Former Asante Kotoko forward Andy Kumi joins Bechem United

Asante Kotoko attacker Francis Andy Kumi has completed a move to Premier League side Bechem United.

Andy Kumi has signed a two-year deal with the Hunters ahead of the new season after being released by Kotoko.

The forward has fallen out-of-favor after recovering from his injury, having failed to make any appearance for the club last season under Prosper Narteh Ogum.

Having joined Asante Kotoko in the middle of the 2020/2021 season from Unistar Academy under the then Portuguese coach Mariano Barreto, Kumi hit the grounds running for the Porcupine Warriors, scoring six goals for the club before the season ended.
