Okwawu United FC Wins Appeals Case Against Kwabebrim, Set For Epic Clash In Heated Replay

Okwawu United FC quest to secure division one status received massive boost from their legal wing with an appeal triumph over Kwabebirim United FC from the Ghana FA Appeals Committee.

The Eastern Region based third tier were declared losers in their clash in their abrupt clash with Kwabebirim in the Eastern Regional FA Disciplinary Committee.

Management of Kwawu United FC appealed against the decision of their RFA’s Disciplinary Committee and have since declared winners at the national level.

The Appeals Committee of the Ghana Football Association ordered a replay of the match at a neutral venue to be determined by the Eastern RFA.

Koforidua based Suhuyen Sporting Club awaits the winner of the rescheduled match in search of a national Division One League ticket.

The match ended 1-1 due to crowd hooliganism with supporters storming the pitch in protest against a penalty against Okwawu United FC.
