Ghanaian musician, Grace Ashly who is popularly known for composing cheerful songs for the national teams especially the Black Stars has come out to reveal that the organizers of the 2018 African Women Cup of Nations tournament which was held in Ghana in November 2018, still owe her an amount of $5, 000,00.
According to the renowned gospel artise, the organizers have not been able to fulfill their part of the deal for the past two years when she spoke on Accra based Angel FM.
“The organisers of AWCON 2018 owe me for the song I composed for the tournament. They haven’t paid the ,5,000 dollars they promised,” she stated.
Ashly further accused the Kwesi Nyantakyi led administration for not treating her good for her numerous contributions.
“I didn’t get any money from all the songs I sang for the Black Stars. Anywhere Kwesi Nyantakyi is, how they treated me is between him and his God”, she added.
