PHOTOS: Asante Kotoko presents 2021/22 GPL title to official Beverage Sponsor Happy Man Plus One

Asante Kotoko today presented the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League trophy to Happy Man Beverage the (official Beverage Sponsor) of Asante Kotoko.

The contingent that paid a courtesy call on the Founder and the President of Charge Limited Dr. Emmanuel Bortey Borketey on Friday 17th June 2022 included, the Chief Executive Officer, Nana Yaw Amponsah and his management and the playing body Kotoko as well the supporter’s leadership.

The C.E.O of Charger delivered a thank you note of Asante Kotoko, Nana Yaw Amponsah, who expressed the club’s gratitude to Dr. Emmanuel Bortey Borketey for believing in them so much to go as far as sponsoring the club. He felt the partnership, signed earlier this year between both parties, was part of why they became victorious.

Dr. Emmanuel Bortey Borketey(Founder and President of Charger Limited) spoke on behalf of Happy Man Plus One and Charger Limited.

He expressed happiness that together, both parties archived victory. The Plus one effect has taken a due course and should continue to elevate the team to African Champions. He pledged 1000 dollars to the players if they worked together for each win in the championship. The pledge, he said, was meant for all players and not merely for the top scorer of the games. The decision was to encourage team effort other than individuality/Selfishness and unhealthy competition.

Kotoko have been crowned champions with 66 points and will climax their season with an away fixture on Sunday when they travel to face Accra Lions at the Accra Sports Stadium.
