Ghana’s sitting HE Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo has supported the country’s continental campaigners Accra Hearts of Oak SC with a cool one Million Ghana Cedi.
The Phobians scooped the domestic double and are currently preparing for two legged playoff tie against Algerian side JS Sauora in the CAF champions league after missing out on the champions league spot.
As part of his support to the continental campaign, the President dolled out the lofty amount to cushion the financial woes of the club heading into their clash with the North African powerhouse.
The club will be hoping to make judicious use of the amount to motivate the players ahead of the winner takes all clash in the playoffs.
Accra Hearts of Oak SC play host to their Algerian opposition on Sunday November 28, 2021 before heading to Algerian for the return leg.
