National Physical Instructor of Referees Association of Ghana (RAG), retired referee RTK Attifu has asked Maxwell Konadu to rate his tactical formation before assessing referee Daniel Laryea after their drawn game against Berekum Chelsea.
Konadu was not happy with the decision by referee Daniel Laryea to award Chelsea skipper Stephen Amankona a free-kick at the edge of the box which was neatly converted by Emmanuel Clottey to snatch the equalizer in added-on time as the match finished 1-1 at the Golden City Park.
“You have ninety minutes to play plus additional time and the referee took a numerous decision which you don’t have a problem with but one decision that went against you is what you want to talk about?” – Rtd Referee RTK Attifu questions Maxwell Konadu on Atinka FM
“If that decision was in favour of Kotoko would he say the decision was wrong? I mean sometimes we want to blame, look at your tactics, is your tactics good in any way through the whole ninety minutes? Were you top on your tactics? Were you advancing the way you should?”
“Your tactical play how many percentages will you give yourself against your opponent. Your comment does not comment that should be insight the referee because in disrespecting the referee is disrespecting the game. Football is governed by law.
