Premier League qualification expert Kobina Amissah has taken up his latest challenge and quest in qualifying yet another club to the top-flight.
Kobina Amissah, formerly of Bibiani Gold Stars has been announced as the new head coach of FC Samartex.
Coach Amissah has endeared himself in the folklore of Ghanaian football becoming the first coach to qualify four different clubs to the elite division – Berekum Chelsea (2008), Sekondi Hasaacas (2011), Elmina Sharks (2015) and very recently Bibiani Gold Stars (2021).
The experienced gaffer masterminded the historic promotion of Gold Stars in august fashion qualifying to the Ghana Premier League with games to spare before shockingly announcing his decision to step down as head coach of the Yellow and Greens.
He would hope his expertise in the second tier will help him achieve yet another feat of qualifying FC Samartex to the top-flight in the upcoming campaign.
The club took to its social media accounts to announce his appointment as head coach of the club.
