Former Karela United Football Club goal poacher Solomon Safor Taylor has named his toughest opposition faced as a defender on the local terrain. 

The trusted goal monger picked Asante Kotoko defender, Ismail Abdul Ganiyu as the toughest defender he played against in Ghana Premier League despite facing many revered defenders across the league centers.

Having earned reputations across the Ghanaian football parlance, Solomon Sarfo Aguero eulogized the defensive prowess of Ismail Abdul Ganiu and singled out the former Wa All Stars FC stalwart ahead of the chasing pack.

“I played against lot of many top defenders in GPL but I remember our game against Asante Kotoko in the Normalization Committee special Competition, Ismail Abdul Ganiyu worried me a lot, I was in top form scoring against any team across in the NC special tournament but Ismail Abdul Ganiyu stop me from scoring that day because he know me well” he told ghsportsnews.com.

Safor Taylor joiedn the Nzema side Karela United in 2014/15 season from B.A United and has since scored an impressive 36 goals from just 62 appearances.
