Asante Kotoko suffered their third consecutive defeat in their pre-season tour of Sudan, as Simba SC beat the Ghanaian champions 4-2.
The Porcupine Warriors took the lead through new striker Steven Mukwala, but the Tanzanian giants recovered to score four goals and claim an impressive victory on Sunday at the Al Hilal Stadium in Omdurman.
Stephen Amankona scored Kotoko’s second goal from the penalty spot.
The loss on Sunday came after a 5-0 thrashing at the hands of Al Hilal on Friday. Earlier in the week, the Sudanese champions defeated Kotoko 2-0.
Kotoko have been extremely disappointing in Sudan, leaving fans concerned ahead of the new season, which begins in two weeks.
