Ghana’s topnotch pingpong star, Felix Lartey has received support from globally recognized table tennis equipment company GEWO USA.
GEWO USA LLC. was established by longtime table tennis equipment expert, Ben Nisbet and hugely accepted across the world by table tennis enthusiasts.
The GEWO story which is aimed at building a better foundation with the eyes of a player has been critical for the youth and professional level of the sport since 1898.
Lartey, who currently plight his trade with the Westchester Table Tennis Centre in the USA has received and be supported with GEWO branded table tennis equipments and accessories.
These includes, GEWO blades, sets of GEWO PRO 48 Nexus El rubbers, bags, GEWO clothing among others.
Speaking to this portal from his base in the USA, Felix Lartey expressed gratitude to the managements of GEWO USA and Westchester Table Tennis Centre for the support.
According to him, the support from GEWO would help boost his career and playing skills.
“Players from Africa especially West Africa don’t really get this kind of support or chances but I think this sponsorship will boost my moral and help me to push harder,” he said.
“I want to thank the CEO of Westchester Table Tennis Centre and the manager of GEWO USA, Ben Nisbet. The support is really massive for me,” he added.
Felix Lartey who is one of the highly rated players in Ghana, is expected to make history in the upcoming Africa Games next year.
