The 4-time Champions, AshantiGold lock horns with the 23-time Champions, Asante Kotoko in matchday 11 fixture in the 2020-21 Ghana Premier League at the Len Clay Stadium on SUNDAY evening in Obuasi.
The 2020-21 season of the Ghana League which is the 58th edition since the competition started in 1956, is the 31st appearance for AshantiGold (Goldfields) while it is the 56th appearance for Asante Kotoko.
AshantiGold (Goldfields) had their debut game in the Ghana league in 1985-86 season after going into the final of the Ghana FA Cup in 1984 but lost the title to Kotoko.
Their first meeting with Asante Kotoko came on 17th Nov. 1985 and that was match Day 1 of the 1985-86 season at Obuasi Horsey Park.
