Transfer Update: Brighton have completed the signing of talented Ghanaian youngster Ibrahim Osman from Nordsjaelland
Brighton & Hove Albion has completed the singing of Ibrahim Osman from Nordsjaelland.
The Ghanaian saw a move to West Ham collapse last month as the London club failed to strike a compromise on the fee after having an offer worth up to £16m rejected. The 19 year old will join Brighton in summer.
However, Brighton picked up the threads of their interest and have reached agreement on a £16.6m fee with a further £2.5m due in add ons and a 10percent sell on clause.
The 19-year-old broke into the Nordsjaelland side last season and has since scored twice in 27 senior appearances. Osman is a graduate of the Right to Dream academy in Ghana, which has helped produce West Ham forward Mohammed Kudus and Brighton winger Simon Adingra.
Osman is a left winger but can play across the front line and will look to prove himself another coup for Brighton as they pip Premier League rivals once again to emerging talent.
