Real Tamale United (RTU) are set to secure the services of Hearts of Oak duo Nuru Sulley and Abdul Manaf Umar when the transfer window opens next month.
The Tamale based club have been long-time admirers of the two players but attempts to sign them in the summer proved futile as the two parties could not agree terms.
Defender Nuru Sulley has since fallen out with the Phobians hierarchy and has his demand for a contract termination granted a fortnight ago, making him free to join any club of his choice with RTU leading the race for his signature.
Diminutive midfielder Manaf Umar nearly joined RTU on loan in the summer but his failure to extend his contract with Hearts of Oak did not allow the move to materialize.
However, with less than a month left his contract with the reigning Ghana Premier League champions, the road could be cleared for him to seek a new adventure with RTU.
Whereas Nuru Sulley was registered in Hearts of Oak league squad prior to his contract termination, Manaf Umar was not registered and was demoted to Auroras.
