VIDEO: French Top-flight Club Clermont Jam To Black Sheriff’s Second Sermon After Win Over Reigning Champions
Black Sheriff’s popular track, Second sermon has transcended beyond the shores of the West African nation – Ghana – with French Ligue 1 outfit Clermont Foot jamming with the hit song after their weekend victory.
The French top-flight side mustered a narrow win over reigning champions LOSC Lille last Saturday at the Stade Gabriel Montpied.
Clermont, newly promoted side, shocked their more illustrious opponents on home turf with N’Simba’s first half strike more rhan enough to hand the home side all three points and end their winless run and inflict a second defeat on Lille in their last five games.
Ghanaian international Salis Abdul Samed played full throttle for Clermont, alongside French midfielder Johann Gastien in the double pivot role to shut out the defending league champions.
Hence it came as no surprise during the team’s post game celebration in the dressing room, Clermont were jamming to Black Sheriff’s Second Sermon – otherwise known as ‘Kweku Frimpong do Asem beba’.
Salis was not the only Ghanaian in the team with young defender Alidu Seidu also in celebration mood cajoling his team mates to enjoy the tune brewed in Ghana.
